FAQ-

1) What is the “Divine Plumbline” ?

Amos 7:8 And the LORD asked me, “What do you see, Amos?”

“A plumb line,” I replied. Then the Lord said, “Look, I am setting a plumb line among my people Israel; I will spare them no longer.”

In the Book of Amos we see God giving a key vision to the prophet Amos to share with the Northern Kingdom of Israel.

It was a vision of a plumbline alongside a walll. God then asked Amos, “What do you see?” God also asked me this question which resulted in an exhaustive study from Genesis to Revelation on the subject of walls and Plumblines! From this developed a seminar teaching called “The Divine Plumbline” which addresses the absolutes of God for mankind.

From identity lost to one that is restored to becoming a son or daughter of God. It is all about the journey of our hearts out of which come the real issues of life.

The development, breakdown and restoration of personality is looked at through the eyes of the Holy Scriptures. Practical keys for healing, release and developing maturity are presented.

2) Who is Dr Bruce Thomson?

For more than thirty years Dr Bruce Thompson and his wife worked with YWAM and its’ University of The Nations. Dr Thompson is the Founding Dean of the College of Counselling and Health care and now Dean Emeritus. He is author of the books “The Divine Plumbline”, Walls of my Heart” and “From Eyesight to Insight”. The Divine Plumbline study guide came out of years of counselling, both in medical practice and on the mission field.

3) Any feedback?

a)   Dr Thomson does an excellent job of showing the history and results of our building walls of protection about ourselves. He makes it clear that freedom comes by the Holy Spirit’s making the cross a reality in our lives. Dr Charles Solomon, President & Founder, Grace Fellowship International

b)   Dr Thompson’s exploration of God’s ways to healing is most illuminating. Pointing to “God’s plumbline,’ he brilliantly shows the way back to wholeness for those broken by sin and trauma. Dr Archibald D Hart, Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA

c)   Aaron Koh, Singapore

I thank God for the Divine Plumbline workshop! The Lord has led me to this workshop to reveal to me about the unknown areas of my life and now I understand why I was behaving like an orphan rather than a beloved child of God. Through the workshop, the Lord has revealed to me about the cause of my identity crisis which has led to undesirable personality profiles that hinder my spiritual growth and my relationship with Him. Dr. Bruce Thompson’s anointed teaching has also helped me to tear down the unbelief and pride in my heart and to release forgiveness to people who have hurt me. In summary, the workshop has helped me to tear down the skewed walls that hindered my spiritual growth and to rebuild my wall of salvation in accordance with the divine plumbline.

I believe the Lord is using this workshop to set His children free so that we can grow to in our Christlikeness and to bring glory to Him!
