DATES:
Course 1 (INTRODUCTORY COURSE): 29TH JUNE 2015

Maintaining personal and community health is not limited to just understanding physical or pathophysiological processes. Academic centres, regulatory authorities and scientific publications have become increasingly concerned with patients’ psychological, social and spiritual dimensions and the need for these to be addressed to achieve optimum health care.

These courses will explore this broader view of patient care captured by the phrase ‘whole person medicine’. It will equip doctors and healthcare teachers to incorporate this into their practice and to teach it to other health professionals. PRIME is an established organisation with skilled and established clinicians tested in practice and in teaching these concepts.

Testimony:

This is an excellent workshop which focuses on the holistic nurturing of a healthcare practitioner, in developing not only the clinical competencies and skills, but also self awareness and self care, relationship building with colleagues and rapport building with patients. In turn, it trains the practitioner to become confident and comfortable to take care of the holistic needs of our patients, and the society at large. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who feels that something is missing from our current health care practice. You will definitely find the answer and solution here.
